2011 Club Championship Tournament

Well, the golf gods sent rain to celebrate our club championship tournament again, so you can imagine what fun we had. On Saturday at Sandy Hollow, we had a rain delay of about 90 minutes, and we could only play the front nine because that's all they course would allow carts on. So we played the front nine twice. On Sunday at Atwood, the rain delay lasted almost two hours, but once the rain stopped, the temps went up.
At any rate, we did finish the tournament. Mike Johnson bested the A Flight field, carding a two-day gross score of 153. John Henning won the A Flight Net Score with a two-day total of 140. Over in B Flight, Wendell Webb held on to his first round lead to take the top prize, carding a two-day gross score of 164. John Ramsay took Net Score honors in B Flight, with a two-day net score of 139. Here are the final results:

Winners were Tom Butz (Hole #1), Ron Wallace (Hole #5 & #18), Mike Hoglund (Hole #17), John Ramsay (Hole #13), and Ryan Kim (Hole #16). Net Skins paid $10.00 each.
Blind Bogey for Sunday was won by Ron Wallace & Wendell Webb, with each taking home $23.00.
